About the event

Course Overview: This course aims to equip managers with essential communication skills to

become effective leaders. Participants will learn various communication techniques and strategies to

enhance their ability to convey ideas, build strong relationships, and inspire teams. The course will

focus on verbal, written, and nonverbal communication skills, along with active listening and conflict

resolution techniques. Participants will have an opportunity apply the learning via participation in

practical activities and scenarios. Participants will develop their communication prowess and know

how to apply these skills to their managerial roles.

Course Duration: One Day

Conflicts

Identifying and addressing conflicts in the workplace, strategies for managing conflict and

maintaining harmony. Conflict resolution and difficult conversations. Effective approaches to handle

difficult conversations and turning conflicts into opportunities for growth and collaboration.

Crisis Communication and Stakeholder Management

Preparing for and managing crisis communication, handling communication with stakeholders during

difficult times, maintaining transparency and trust in crisis situations, creating communication plans

for various stakeholders

Written Communication

Crafting clear and concise emails, business writing etiquette, writing reports and memos

Integrating Communication Skills into Managerial Roles

Applying effective communication skills in leadership, constructive delegation, and empowerment

through communication, building a culture of open communication within the organisation

Creating a personal action plan for continued development.
